About JMJ Pregnancy Center

The foundation for action is the biblical teaching that “Faith without works is as dead as a body without breath.” (James 2:26). On March 16, 1990, Ann Drolet and Frances Murray took action and answered a call by establishing a non-profit organization devoted to helping women and families facing unexpected pregnancies in central Florida.

For more than a quarter of a century, JMJ Pregnancy Center has assisted thousands of women and families in their journey through faith-based, unconditional love and FREE services.

Relocations & Expansions

JMJ Pregnancy Center first opened its doors on Virginia Drive, and then relocated to 1600 N. Orange Avenue in January 1992. In April of 2003, JMJ relocated their headquarters to 1400 W. Colonial Avenue with their final relocation nine years later across the street to 1401 W. Colonial Drive.

In the spring of 1998, JMJ Pregnancy center began expanding its outreach with the opening of new branches around central Florida that now include locations in Kissimmee, Saint Cloud and east Orlando. These branches have also had its share of relocations. Saint Cloud’s office moved to St. Thomas Aquinas Church in 2004 following the destruction of the office from the hurricanes of that year. From 2015 until 2017, the East Orlando office called the Catholic Campus Ministry office within UCF’s Northview Center (located at the intersection of McCulloch Road and Lockwood Boulevard) its home. We are grateful for the support of St. Thomas Aquinas and Catholic Campus Ministry at UCF for helping us reach women and families in need in those areas.

Fear can be a driving force for decisions made, or advice given, when it comes to an unexpected pregnancy. JMJ Pregnancy Center set out to break barriers and empower women and families to make educated, positive and life-affirming choices.

Our Mission

The mission of JMJ Pregnancy Center is to empower women to embrace life. JMJ supports the God-given right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every unborn child to be born.
